Wide men's wedding band in white metal: two brushed grey panels between polished edges and a polished centre line

Men’s Wedding Bands

For many men, the wedding band is the first ring they’ll ever wear, so it’s worth trying a few. Choose a precious metal like gold or platinum, or an alternative metal like titanium; a round or flat profile; a width that suits your hand; and a finish from high polish to brushed, hammered or sandblasted. These men’s wedding bands were made by our in-house jewellers. Come in and we’ll hand you a tray to try on.

FAQ

How wide should a men’s wedding band be?

There’s no magic formula. Men with longer fingers often like 7 mm or wider, and 6 mm or narrower suits shorter fingers. The best way to decide is to try a few widths on.

What’s the difference between a comfort fit and a flat fit?

A comfort fit is domed and rounded; a flat fit is squared off. A wider band tends to fit tighter, so size with a sizer close to the width of the band you want.

Do men wear engagement rings?

Some do. We see wider bands, matte finishes, signet-inspired shapes, brushed metal, black diamonds, engraving and mixed metals, and some men later wear the engagement ring as their wedding band.

How long does it take to make a custom men’s wedding band?

Anywhere from 2 to 8 weeks generally. The exact timeline will largely depend on you. Generally it takes longer the more involved you want to be in the design approval process. Let us know what timeline you need your ring within and we’ll make sure it happens.
