Wedding Bands
Most people wear the wedding band on the same finger as the engagement ring: band first, closest to the heart, engagement ring above it. Not every pair stacks neatly, so we plan the two together and shape the band where it needs to curve. These wedding bands were made by our in-house jewellers, in platinum or 10k, 14k or 18k white, yellow or rose gold. Try them on at our Toronto showroom, or start from one and make it yours.

FAQ
Which goes on first, the wedding band or the engagement ring?
Traditionally the wedding band goes on first, closest to the heart, with the engagement ring above it. After the wedding many people wear both together; others wear the band every day and save the engagement ring for evenings or travel.
Will a straight wedding band sit flush with my engagement ring?
Not always. A low setting, an unusual outline or side stones can leave a gap beside a straight band. A curved, contoured or custom band can sit closer, so it helps to plan the band early.
Which metals can a wedding band be made in?
Platinum, or 10k, 14k or 18k gold in white, yellow or rose. We never use 24k gold for a ring: it’s too soft.
How long does it take to make a custom wedding band?
Anywhere from 2 to 8 weeks generally. The exact timeline will largely depend on you. Generally it takes longer the more involved you want to be in the design approval process. Let us know what timeline you need your ring within and we’ll make sure it happens.
